We bought a Superman costume for Greggy a few weeks ago at Toy Kingdom, SM Megamall. He really loves wearing it! Look at his adorable photos.

We love Christmas!!!

Leo and I woke up at 4am yesterday.
After our early morning chat over breakfast, he started setting up our 6-feet tall Christmas tree. He does the whole Christmas decoration every year. Needless to say, I wasn’t gifted with such creativity at all. That’s why I let him do it. Hahaha. I just don’t wanna mess everything up, you know.
I, on the other hand, worked on our Boracay travel album. I arranged all our 300 pictures in order and painstakingly placed them in the album including our plane tickets and the official receipt that we got from the Blue Mango Inn, where we stayed for four days April this year.

We finished the whole thing before lunch time. My dad-in-law gave us fresh crabs and shrimps straight from the aiport that morning so I cooked Shrimp Gambas for lunch. In return, Leo cooked the crabs. Talk about division of labor!
Greggy’s new books!

Last month, I bought two board books for Greggy entitled The Easter Story, which contains different stories about Jesus Christ, and My First Chick Stories, which contains stories about chicks and other animals. The said books are used but still in good quality. Don’t you know that I just got them for only 80 pesos each? Whenever there’s a Book Sale at the malls, I make sure that I’m always there to check out some good books.
After all, books don’t come cheap nowadays.

Growing up

“You know children are growing up when they start asking questions that have answers.” - John Plomp
Quite true, isn’t it? My son is getting more and more inquisitive each day. He would ask questions like:
“What color is this or that, mommy?”
“What’s the English of ____?” (if he hears any unfamiliar tagalog words)
“Mommy, what’s this?” (pointing to an unfamiliar object)
“What did you say?” (if he hears something he can’t understand)
“What are you doing?”
“Are we in Mandaluyong/SM/Mall of Asia/wherever already?”
…And the list goes on. Sometimes he would give funny answers to our questions that really make sense. One time, while he was watching our wedding video, he asked me why he wasn’t there. Bakit daw si lolo, lola, tito, tita, etc. lang daw ang nakikita nya lagi.

His daddy and I looked at each other in disbelief. Then I explained to him, “Baby, you’re still in heaven with Papa Jesus that time that’s why you’re not with us on our wedding day…”
He seemed to have understood what I said and just continued watching the video.
And we knew since then that he’s indeed growing up. Too fast…

I just checked the Page Rank of this blog and I was surprised to find out that it has PR2 already! Wow. Not bad! Considering the fact that I am not really working hard to boost its traffic.
